Morning Coffee

Ever stared bleary-eyed at the ceiling at 3 am, the pitter-patter of tiny feet your only lullaby? New parenthood is a whirlwind of emotions, and for many, sleep deprivation becomes a badge of honor (or exhaustion). This was the inspiration behind my latest animation project, "Morning Coffee," a walk cycle bursting with the energy that only that first cup of coffee can provide.

As a coffee enthusiast myself, that first morning brew is a lifeline. It's the fuel that gets my creative engine running, especially after countless sleepless nights. "Morning Coffee" isn't just an animation; it's a love letter to the magical elixir that allows me to function (and maybe even be a little playful) despite the sleep deficits.
The animation itself is a simple walk cycle, but the charm lies in the details. I poured my love for coffee – and the chaos of new parenthood – into every frame.
This project was a personal one, a way to channel the bittersweet reality of new parenthood into something fun and creative. It's a testament to the power of a good cup of coffee to transform exhaustion into a kind of joyful frenzy, the kind that gets you moving, even if it's just a slightly unsteady walk.
"Morning Coffee" might not be saving the world, but it's a reminder that even in the face of sleep deprivation and endless nappy changes, there's still room for a little spark of creativity and a whole lot of love (and caffeine).
